Within the short distance of 'Duwan Sing Syiem' viewpoint there is another breath taking view en route to Cherrapunji from Shillong is "TYNGAM MASI" viewpoint. It provides a splendid panoramic view and tourists can enjoy the natural beauty of the valley. However, one has a walk up a number of steps to reach the same. There is also a small pond at this place which makes it interesting.

It is located at the very start of Cherrapunji (Sohra) tourist route.Tourists can enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty of the valley (Green hills, dense forests and river) right from the road. Nevertheless, one has to walk down a number of steps to reach the waterfall. Most of the times the valley is covered with fog and it is a matter of chance to get a good view of the entire valley.
